The Puto Pao

Last week my sister went to Pampanga to visit one of the manufacturing plants over there. She brought home one of these, the puto pao. It's a variation of the siopao (steamed dumplings). My first time to taste one and it was quite good.

Emu

Just had to take a picture of this peculiar looking object. It's a magnet designed to be a replica of an Emu. I think this is one of the few stuff that my boss owns which she favors. She brought it along when we changed offices. Well it's kinda cute in an odd sort of way. Had a bit of a struggle in trying to get the shot.

Just me,

Palm Flowers?

Picture 1

Picture 2

I never knew that our Palm tree has flowers. This was one of those rare moments when I saw the fuzzy white things growing on our palm tree (picture 2). I guess its the flowers before it grew into the red fruits (picture 1). Using my camera's zoom lens I was able to have a closer look at the blooms.

Just me,

More sidewalk flowers

On our way back from lunch we noticed these two new flowers which were grown on the sidewalks of Makati. Of course, being the flower lover that I am had to take a picture using my phone camera.

I have yet to find out what their names are though.

Just me,

Whole in one

Practicing my creativity in photography with this one. This is my boss' marble paper weight. Somebody placed it over the hole where the cables are supposed to go in so it wouldn't roll over. Kinda looks like its shadow doesn't it?

Just me,

The ins and outs

I am practically obsessed in taking pictures of this particular flower. I have no idea why. But every time I go in the garden I always stop and take a picture of it. Maybe because for such a tiny flower it undergoes several process. For this particular shot though I wanted to go inside it. Using my camera's Macro mode I finally got to see what its hiding.
Just me,

After the rain

I got my camera out as soon as I arrived home just so I could get pictures of the raindrops.

Here's several on our Rosal

Here's one on a stem

I came out of our garden holding my camera on one hand and my umbrella on the other. I must have looked funny at that time. The things we do just to get that shot.
